It’s my favourite time in my blog schedule, when I shine a light on my incredible clients by way of my The Proust Questionnaire feature. Today we have fabulous Melitta Hardenberg who changed my life in too many ways to count, but we’ll start with her strengths expertise. Melitta works in the learning and development space, runs across the Mornington Peninsula for fun and is one of the kindest, cleverest most inspiring women I know.
The Proust Questionnaire by Melitta Hardenberg
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Being free of constraints on time! Perfect happiness is being unplugged, offroad, and exploring the road less travelled with my family (and maybe finishing with an evening with a few select souls that make you laugh until you cry!)
What is your greatest extravagance?
Alone time (oh the elusive alone time!)
Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
Put your shoes on Ellie … or… ‘no, we need to leave now, we are late!!!’ Hahah. More seriously it would probably be ‘what strength do you think you’re using!”
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Still being madly in love with my husband and having 2 pretty awesome little humans! Professionally, it’s probably building a culture that sees people for who they are at their best!
Where would you most like to live?
On the same street as my family! Whilst I dream of living in beautiful places where you can see the sun set over the ocean and the sun rise over a mountain, I probably dream more of having those I love most live close!
What is your most treasured possession?
My bookcase! I’m old school, I like hard copy books, and I love them all, unlike children, I can’t narrow down a favourite!!! hahah
What is your most marked characteristic?
My ability to get excited … about everything!
Who is your hero of fiction?
Oh gosh, I’m not a hero watching kinda gal, so I’d probably fall back on Anna from Frozen, she’s brave, loyal, and beats the bad guys!
Who are your heroes in real life?
My heroes in real life are a few select friends and family that do incredible things, even against the odds. They know who they are!
What is your motto?
There are no strangers, just friends you haven’t met yet!
